Learn to Play Pickleball.

What to bring

Wear comfortable clothes, clean indoor sneakers and bring along a water bottle. Paddles and balls will be provided.

What you’ll learn

We’ll introduce serving, scoring, the two-bounce rule, the kitchen and the basic shots you need to start playing games.

Your Session

Typically 90 minutes, expect a warm welcome, skill demonstrations, plenty of practice and time to play with other beginners.

Zero to Hero

Our Learn to Play classes are designed to teach you everything you need to know to play - by the end of 90 minutes you will be playing pickleball games.

The Kitchen The slang term we use for the non-volley zone on either side of the net. Stay out of the kitchen!
A Dink A soft shot that lands in your opponent’s kitchen. And probably the first shot we'll practice in class.
A Rally The back-and-forth play before a point ends (this is where the fun happens!)
0-0-2 The doubles scoring system you will learn. A traditional doubles game begins at 0-0-2.
