In Support of Ronald McDonald House Newfoundland & Labrador

Join us September 25–27, 2026, at the Rogers Dome at Greenbelt Tennis Facility for an unforgettable weekend of competition, community, and giving back. The Collett, Bastow & Associates Charity Pickleball Classic will bring together players of all skill levels to support the incredible work of Ronald McDonald House Newfoundland & Labrador.

Every registration helps make a difference. All net proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities Newfoundland and Labrador, helping provide comfort, care, and a home-away-from-home for families when they need it most.

The action kicks off Friday with our Corporate Team Challenge. After the final points are played, participants and spectators are invited to stay for our "Wine & Fries" social, a relaxed evening of networking, refreshments, and celebration. Saturday and Sunday will feature traditional tournament play, including Doubles and Mixed Doubles, giving players plenty of opportunities to compete for medals while supporting a great cause. Register for Saturday & Sunday play here.

Whether your team is brand new to the sport or looking to sharpen their skills before the Corporate Challenge, 709 Pickleball can provide customized instruction, team-building activities, and on-court coaching to help everyone feel confident heading into tournament day.

Corporate Team Challenge

Friday, September 25, 2026 | 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Wine & Fries Social | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Join us for the inaugural Collett, Bastow & Associates Charity Pickleball Classic Corporate Team Challenge in support of Ronald McDonald House NL.

Gather your colleagues, clients, friends, or business partners and enjoy an afternoon of team competition, networking, and community impact. Whether you're a seasoned pickleball player or simply looking for a unique team-building experience, this event is designed to be fun, welcoming, and memorable.

Each corporate team will compete against three different teams throughout the afternoon, with all teams guaranteed three matches. Following play, participants are invited to stay for our Wine & Fries Social inside the Rogers Dome at Greenbelt, featuring great wine, classic French fries, networking opportunities, and the presentation of the inaugural Corporate Challenge Trophy.

Supporting Ronald McDonald House NL

All net proceeds from the event will support Ronald McDonald House NL and the families it serves. Corporate team registrations are eligible for a charitable tax receipt, which will be issued following the tournament.

Team Registration

Teams consist of 4 players
No gender requirements
Corporate teams may be made up of employees, clients, partners, friends, or family members
All skill levels are welcome

To ensure a fun and balanced experience, teams with experienced players must adhere to a maximum cumulative DUPR rating of 14.0 across all four players.

Event Format

The Corporate Challenge uses a team format inspired by Major League Pickleball.

Players on each team are ranked from 1 to 4, with Player 1 being the strongest player and Player 4 being the newest or least experienced player.

Each team match consists of four doubles sets played to 11 points:

Team A Player 1 & Player 2 vs. Team B Player 1 & Player 2
Team A Player 3 & Player 4 vs. Team B Player 3 & Player 4
Team A Player 1 & Player 3 vs. Team B Player 1 & Player 3
Team A Player 2 & Player 4 vs. Team B Player 2 & Player 4

The team that wins the most sets wins the match.

If teams are tied 2–2 after the four sets, a Dreambreaker tiebreaker will determine the winner. In this exciting singles format, all four players participate, rotating every four points as teams race to 21 points using rally scoring.

Championship Playoff

Following the round-robin portion of the event, the top teams in the standings will advance to a championship playoff to determine the winner of the 1st Annual Collett, Bastow & Associates Charity Pickleball Classic Corporate Challenge Trophy.
